How to Care?

  • Tecoma yellow plants do not ask for too much fertilizer. Apply only once a month during the primary growing season in case of slower growth.
  • Always dilute fertilizer with a balanced amount of water to let it easily flow to the entire plant.
  • Annual pruning is necessary to let the plant maintain its shape and encourage new shoots.
  • Remove the old and damaged parts of Tecoma yellow bells to allow new and healthy growth of the plant.
  • Place them in a bright outdoor spot for the best growth, as the yellow bells plant can easily withstand both drought and humid climates.
  • Make sure not to overwater them as they are one of the best drought-tolerant plants that prefer hot and dry climates.
  • Keep the Tecoma Stans plant in a slightly humid condition. However, it is best to water them only twice or thrice a month.
  • They do not prefer any specific soil type. It is best to choose a soil well-draining soil rich in organic components for them.
  • The best way to provide them with the proper nutrients is by adding healthy and rich compost.
  • Try removing the unwanted or dead parts of the parts from Tecoma plants to prevent bacterial and fungal growth.
  • Do not re-pot them immediately after receiving them, as your yellow bells may die. Wait for at least two weeks before re-potting.
